What to look out for in a 1960's build MF
Hi everyone,
I am currently looking at a 1960's build MF in Arizona. Typically we look for 1970's or newer, what are some things to look out for when dealing with buildings build pre-1970's?
Thanks,
Kyle

@Kyle Mitchell Age is not nearly as important as condition IMO. In older buildings you will encounter old wiring, plumbing, heating, asbestos and lead paint so take that into account if you are thinking about extensive remodelling. On the East coast you regularly find buildings that are over 100 years old. How they are built and maintained is what counts. I have a 12 unit that was built in 1960-great money maker! Get it inspected, be informed and offer accordingly.
