Property managers vs personally managing my investment?

Hi Everyone I have a full time job as a business analyst but I want to build wealth in real estate. I’m ready to take a leap of faith. You all in BP are awesome and this forum is phenomenal. I’ve learned so much with BP and I’m taking a class with RE Mentor to have a step by step guide on how to buy and sell multiple dwellings. I want to keep my 9-5 and invest in real estate part time until it becomes my full time. I’m looking for B/C buildings near colleges and quiet neighborhoods for now...what do you think? I want residual income from collecting rents, without the hassle? Is that even possible? I will not have the time for the day to day issues therefore I want to hire property managers to manage the property. Is it easier to use them instead of personally managing property. I do not want to deal with tenants right now, only the investment opportunity?

Hiring a 3rd party manager is a great idea. I would suggest finding some property managers that you like and trust and that have good reviews by their clients and tenants. Make sure they will manage the type of properties you are looking at purchasing. Then go find the deal. Dont find the deal first.
