I recently move to the Baltimore area and looking to househack my next property. I would like to purchase within the next few months because my lease is ending and want to stay under $250k for a 3-4 unit property. What would be a decent area to purchase in based on rents? How would I determine if its a good deal based on projected rents?
There are not many 3-4 units available these days, but Ideally, you want to be around Charles Village where $250 is not going to cut it, or areas like ashburton, dorchester or brooklyn might have 3-4 multi-units, but don't know if you want to be around there.
