I purchased 3 multi family buildings in the in the last 12 months.

Im looking for a recommendation for someone in Kansas City Mo area to do a few cost segregation studies.

My other question is does the person need to be local on can anyone throughout the us do it? Does the engineer walk the building.

@Jason Graves you will need to have an engineer walk the property to have a real cost seg study done. There are many national firms who work in all 50 states. You can reach out to a firm to get an upfront (no-cost) feasibility analysis to see what your potential tax benefits would be, to see if it's worthwhile.
