Other than viewing news articles on where others think the market is- what do you all use to keep up with where the market currently looks like and where it is going? Are there any tips you would recommend?

One resource I always lean upon is Marcus & Millichap's quarterly reports. You can register to get access on their website and they are full of information specific to real estate, markets and more. 

There are some more complex strategies for pulling data from various databases, but for the layperson this is a wonderful resource! And its free :)
