Powerful Benefits of Real Estate

Saw this great picture and wanted to share.

Real estate is really unique when you compare different investments.

My favorite out of the 6 listed is cash flow.

Time is the most valuable thing we have. Think about that. Cash flow allows you to live a life by design NOW and not wait until you retire.

Coming in at a close second is forced appreciation. You have the ability to control the investment and add value by increasing income or decreasing expenses.

@Justin Goodin great post! What's not to like about any of the six. I think #6 often gets overlooked, and this is how you can multiply your investments, and begin to build some serious wealth. Also some will look at an equity multiple of 2x based on a 5-yr hold, and assume it is better than a 1.6x equity multiple on a 3 yr hold. When you look at the numbers, redeploying that 1.6x after year three earns you a greater sum after 5 years due to the power of compounding on a higher total amount (assuming the same rate of return).
