Asbestos in property to be demolished

I have a property that I am selling that will be scraped for the land. The buyer has tested and found that it has a small percentage of asbestos in some of the texture. They did about 30 tests in the 1,100 sq ft property. Nearly every one (1 did not) of the ceiling samples tested positive. Only one of the walls tested positive. They are telling me that they need to remove the drywall from all the walls not just the ceiling. Is this correct?

Any way around it?

Cost is about $23K.  They want me to "share" half. Does this price seem reasonable? They estimate 3,300 sqft of wall and ceiling.

I did three bathrooms in three separate units for $5K so $23K seems a bit high as I think a good bit of the cost is the labor for the setup.
