How do I get a mortgage if I’m only 20 and no official job!?

Ok so I’m only 20yrs old I’ll be 21 this upcoming June. I work but I don’t have an official job. Where I live houses are bought and sold everyday and recently this year of 2019 they’ve been buying and selling insanely like the whole towns running around trying find out how to get their feet wet. I know they ask you for credit which I have none, they ask you where you work at:/ like I’m clueless. I feel as if my dreams are now crushed all the reading financial books was a waist of time.
