I have a 2yr old home renovation/remodeling business in Bronx New York. We have not had much success with consistent work and are now maintaining the business from our own pockets (paying high insurance premiums and renewing license). Please give pointers or advise on how we can change this trend?

Jermain, I "feed" a lot of contractors and other professionals from my business.  I have a core group of vetted professionals who I introduce/refer to my clients - and they're swamped with work.  Please consider putting together a few photos of the work you've done and sharing it with realtors/brokers/property managers - and asking for referrals.  Take small jobs when there's a pressing need someone is trying to resolve and make a reputation for yourself as the "go to contractor" for real estate professionals.  You only need a few great sources of business to turn this around fast.
