City Permits for BRRRR

Hello all,

I'm reaching out to see if there are any investors in the DFW area who is savy with navigating city permits for the city of forest hill, Texas.
I originally hired a contractor to do all the remodeling work for this deal but to shorten this very long story he is not reachable now. I'm pretty handy so I've started doing the left over work on the weekends myself.

However, it turns out the property is now marked for plumbing, mechanical and electrical violations. The city is saying I need to hire a new GC to turn in the permits. I know this is going be a long process but I've registered to be my own GC mainly so I can learn for future projects. They also say I need a site plan and floor plan. The property was purchased from tax auction and no floor or site plan is readily available from the city or county offices.

where can I get the site and floor plan for a house built in the 60s?

Any assistance will be much appreciated.
