Best improvements to increase home value?

Hey BP,

In general what are some of the best renovations options to increase a homes value? I understand there are likely numerous variables to this question.

Exterior- Roof, gutters, siding, windows, etc?

Interior - bath/kitchen updates, flooring, paint, etc?

Additions or room extensions?

Our budget is roughly $10-$15k for renovations
