Book recommendation for new investor

Alex Farber
Posted

Hello,

New to the site and a newbie investor. I'm looking into buying a book from the website and wondering which of these three would be the best to start with. The Book on  "Investing with no (and low) money down." the Book on "Rental property Investing," or "How to Invest in real Estate." ? They seem very similar and I'm guessing there is some overlapping content. Is one of them best if I'm lokoing to buy my first property soon? I'll probably read them all eventually.

Thanks

Alex

Hello @Alex Farber and welcome to BP!

The answer to this depends on your strategy. BP's bookstore has great books for wholesalers, house-flippers, house-hackers, rental property investors, and long distance/remote investors.

I would start with the book that most closely resembles your goal for getting started.

Long-term, you'll want to pick up several titles so you can't go wrong with either of these 3 choices. I'd also recommend Gary Keller's Millionaire Real Estate Investor.

Best of luck to you on your journey!

    Abel
