My name is Brandon, I’m 17 and Im working to get my brokers license in april when I turn 18. I want to start wholesales now, because I have no capital and can’t rely on family for it. In my state I can only assign one contract a year, but their are loopholes. I am hoping to work with someone who flips houses and or someone who is already assigning contracts, so by the time I am 18 I can actually invest capital into something that will have higher returns. Basically.. I need help!

Hello Brandon, welcome to the BP community! You should start listening to the BiggerPockets podcast starting at the very beginning. Start growing your network while you're getting your license, look on Facebook/BiggerPockets for different events and find a mentor doing what you want to do. Try to attend your local REI networking groups and meetups. Connect with as many real estate mentors as you can. You can also consult with lenders, brokers and ask them for suggestions on who might be a good real estate mentor most will be able to provide one.

Try to think of different ways you can add value to that person. What are your strengths? For example are you experienced in social media marketing? Could you offer a mentor some tips? This way its not just a one way street.
