What strategy is best for someone starting out at age 62?

My wife and I sold our business and paid cash for our new place. The improvements on the place have used up most of the profits from the sale. We do have about 750k in equity in our current home.

What would be the best REI strategy for people in our position?

Thank you.

@Steven Whipple

Best strategy I would say is take on what would be the lowest risk possible. With $750k you could get $60k+ per year passively at a lower risk than trying to chase $100k+ per year.

As I get older my appetite for risk gets less and less and I don’t need roller coaster rides I like the merry go round
