Can't move into new home West New York until end of lease- should I STR?

Hi BP Community - I recently just closed on my property in West New York NJ. I'm currently living in Hoboken, but my landlord is not willing to allow me to terminate my lease early, find a replacement , or sublet while my roommate continues to stay here. There is a chance I have to live here for the duration of my lease, which ends August 31st.

to help save cash, i'm considering doing a STR on my property for 2-3 months while i have moved my stuff there and live between my new home and my current apartment.

Does anyone know about the WNY STR scene? Any other ideas to help not pay a mortgage and rent for 3 months?
