Explain Release Price to me

How does release price work?  I have a portfolio loan and am paying it down but need to sell a few properties.

What if the home sells less than the release price but I have paid a lot of equity into the portfolio loan?

release's prices I have done on loans I made and of course on all my subdivision / development loans.

are simply a pre arranged release price..  IE you can release a property for the cash payment of 100k.

Or they get more complicated and are on case by case and total equity left.. I mean you cant release properties and leave the dogs. thats what banks worry about.

In your case you will have to see if they will negotiate a new release number for you.. this usually requires an apprasial etc.
