Phone, Zoom, or Face-to-Face? A Quick Thought for Fellow Investors

Coming from an investment sales background, I’ve noticed a big difference in how investor relationships grow depending on how the first connection happens. Phone calls and Zoom intros are great for efficiency, but nothing really compares to a face-to-face meeting when it comes to building long-term trust and really understanding someone’s goals.

Lately, I’ve seen more wholesale and investment brokerages requiring basic disclosures before sending out deals, which makes sense for protecting both parties, but also reinforces how important it is to build real relationships early on.

Curious how others here feel:
-Do you prefer to meet people in person when possible, or are phone/email enough once there’s some trust established?
-And how do you typically approach that initial rapport-building when working with agents or brokers?

Would love to hear your thoughts! Always open to connecting with others who want to dive deeper into this or talk investment strategy in general.
