Balancing Risk vs. Leverage – What’s Your Strategy?

Hi BP community,

As investors, we all know leverage can multiply returns—but it also adds risk if not managed properly. Some investors go for max leverage, while others prefer to keep debt low and scale slowly.

I’m curious: how do you balance this in your investing journey? Do you aim for higher leverage to grow faster, or keep conservative to protect cash flow?

From what I’ve seen, access to the right financing structure makes a big difference depending on the exit strategy (flip vs. hold vs. refi). Would love to hear your perspectives.
