aquiring title from foreclosed manufactured home

Has anyone been through the process of getting a title from a foreclosed home? I have recently purchased a doublewide, with cash. It is affixed to the ground and has HUD tag on the outside. My lender colleague says that we need a title to sell FHA. Secretary of State says that we must get the previous title holders to sign off. Hired a newby lawyer, and he is saying the same..
