Who wants to move?

It's amazing to see my home state of Illinois at the top of the list of places people want to move 'from.'

It's also interesting to see that the pricey part of the Northeast: Connecticut, New York, New Jersey (where I currently reside) is also popular to move from. Clearly I need to be in a better market. What are the general thoughts on the poll?

This is why I love REI. I agree NJ is way to costly to live in if I was a single or young couple starting out. That said as an established contractor the opportunities in REI are huge. My labor costs are minimal in rehabbing/maintaining and managing our rental properies and the returns are awesome. I create high end rentals so all the perks I offer are fluff. IMHO the NJ market is full of "I want/need this" potential clients. So I give them Granite/ SS appliances/ rough saw wood floors with stone accent walls. Me I am a simple person whom runs simple businesses. My rentals are nicer than my own home... But I can afford my own home. That said my tenants will only be able to afford to pay me rent.
