Thoughts on traditional vs Roth SDIRA and 401k?

What are your folks thought on this? I'm someone that wants my portfolio to be primarily RE, but I stuggle in how to allocate funds between Roth and traditional IRAs, SDIRA, and 401k. I have normally done Roth IRAs only. But I have recently opened a traditional TSP 401k simply for the tax deferred benefits. I plan on being in a higher tax bracket 10-15 years from now, but I have no idea about when I am 60+. I may want to do my W-2 job more part time.
