Investing in the UK

Hi,

I have seen a lot of ads in South Africa in the last couple of month about UK property. I would like to invest and have looked at the options but it's always better getting feedback from somebody who has walked the talk. So I suppose my question is: Have you invested in the UK and what kind of investment, i.e. established property, new development, pre-development? And how has your experience been? Any advice? Any good company to use?
