Hey guys I am moving out of Missouri for the first time in my many years here to a lil north of San Antonio, Texas. Wondering if you guys have any suggestions about the shift in the market down there. Or any tips on lifestyles and such. Remember I see a lot more farmland than city from where I am from.

Welcome.  I moved down here from St. Louis 3 years ago.  The biggest differences you'll see in Texas is all major markets are appreciating quickly, likely too quickly to be sustainable much longer. In addition to that, there is an influx of people moving to Texas (helping perpetuate the increases). Property values are continuously rising, rents are high, and "investors" are joining the market daily.  There is a lot of competition here, but still deals to be had. Good luck and welcome.
