Sharing info, how much is too much?

I'm looking to up my monthly income but am in need of advice.  I realize I can't get accurate answers if I don't share some realistic numbers.  How and where do I draw the line (on BP) when it comes to dollar amounts?

Why would you feel you need to do that at all? Also, what do you mean by dollar amounts, are you talking about potential deals you're looking into? Or deals already done? I can understand if you're evaluating a property and you don't want to give away specifics such as street address.. To me dollar amounts are only numbers and thus are irrelevant as far as someone knowing too much about a specific property.. Maybe I'm completely off track here, if so please be more specific as to what you mean by that post..
