CitiFinancial wants $25 for PayOff Statement

This has happened 2 out of 5 deals.

1st Time: I called Citi Financial for a Pay-Off Statement and they wanted $25 to fax, or mail for free. Of course I took the mail option.

Next 3 Times (Other Accounts): No charge for Pay-Off Statement.

Last Time: They wanted $25 for both fax or mail.

Has anyone else experienced this from Citi Financial or any other lender?

These Pay-Off Statements are placed in the Short Sale package.

FYI the bank also has to pay to release their lien, they will sometimes charge for that too!
