Finding Investors to Lend Money TO

Andrew McCotter
Posted

So I read all the time investors saying "If you find a good deal, the money is out there". But I rarely hear the other side of that equation.

Anyone out there a hard money lender/ever put cash into someone else's deal. How did you go about finding those people with the deals? What did your partnership look like, just 50/50 split?

I find people to invest with by going to local and national events. Granted, I'm a syndication investor, but the principle is the same. If you want to catch a fish, go where the fish are. If you want to find somebody to borrow your money for real estate, then go where people who borrow money for real estate go (say that 5 times fast).
