Starting out in Baltimore MD

Hello everyone,

I am looking to start investing in the Baltimore, MD area. I have never done RE investing but have been following various threads on BP, researched various articles, as well as attended some networking events. I would be curious to hear from those that have started in that market to know how (a) they went about it (b) if they would recommend it and (c) areas in that region that would be good to invest/look into investing in.

I am looking at starting small, gaining knowledge and experience. This would be something I would be doing on the side. Ultimate goal is to have other sources of income gradually.
