HI i'm looking into potentially buying property in South west Florida. Currently looking at Cape Coral area.
Does this area have a good rental market? Are there better towns then others to buy property in?
Are there any gotchas in that area to be concerned or worried about.
Are there any known and good property managers in that area as well.
Cape Coral's a strong rental market. Keep an eye out for older properties in flood zones as your flood insurance will be higher. Newer or at least updated, especially the big ticket items (roof, plumbing, HVAC), the better. I can refer you to property managers, for seasonal and annual rentals, depending on what you're looking to do.
Hi @Nick Grenon ,
Cape Coral is a great city for investing, but I wouldn't specifically limit your search to one city just because of the benefits offered in that place.
A few other local cities to look at are Fort Myers and Lehigh Acres, which both have great opportunities for small and larger multi-family investments.
Regarding property management, I would highly recommend Royal Palm Property Management.
Let me know if there's any other questions I can answer for you!
