Can I As A 17 y/o Wholesale Real Estate

Hi all, 

I'm a 17 y/o, and as you can tell by the title i really want to wholesale real estate. I've been watching videos and reading forums and searching about it for about a year now. I'm happy to say i've fallen in love with this idea! However, am i to young to sign contracts? I'm in a few FB groups and i get a different answer each time ,some say yes some say no. I know my parents would never give me consent to sign the contracts, or sign them for me, which is sad. (I'm not looking for legal advice, just wondering) and if i am to young to sign a contract can i be as bird dog instead at my age! I appreciate all the replies
