1% rule for rental properties in metropolitan areas
Hello, I know the 1% rule is usually thrown around for purchasing a rental property. However when you more experienced investors are investing in multihome properties (4 plex or more) in metropolitan areas do you all still ride or die by that 1% rule? Or do you look more at cash on cash return? I know some people only focus on one over the other but with being newer to multi home properties I’d like to see how you guys think! Thanks in advance
