Down payment equity partnership-how does it work?

Hello! I was wondering if anyone had experience with a private partnership that involved a joint bank account. What exactly is needed to make sure we are following all of the rules? Also, if anyone has any templates for a general 50/50 partnership that would be greatly appreciated
