Is turnkey investing legit/worth it?

For someone who lives in an expensive market, is turnkey real estate investing worth looking into? Does anyone have any book recommendations or resources on this topic?

I live in Miami, a very expensive market. I've done flips/buy and hold in this market and other less expensive markets. It's wasn't until I purchased my first turnkey property last year that I realized, this is going to be my preferred way of investing moving forward. Now, not all turnkey providers are built the same so you have to do your due diligence. 

You'll find a lot of post here that will provide great insight on the process of buying TK.
