Is it wrong to have a rental with knob and tube wiring?

Hi just bought house 1 and it does have some active knob and tube wiring, Was going to re-finish the house with new drywall, fresh paint, and floors before renting. My question then stands is it wrong to leave the electrical? Or is that a must do before putting up new drywall? Just wanted to reach out and hear everyone’s thoughts and/or experiences. Thanks.

@Ben Waslaski You'll want to check the local code. I replaced knob and tube in my rental. It costed us about $5k.
