Haven't posted in theee years and felt I could give an update on my experience. I started doing research and educating myself on rental properties about 5 years ago. I ended up getting a promotion at work we refinanced our home and continued to live on our old income budget. Because i was learning about all the different options before I had the money to purchase when we did get the money saved in a relatively short time we could buy right away. We have been able to buy 3 turnkey homes in KC in the past 3 years. Im so glad we decided to invest in our future with real estate. We plan on continuing to buy more turnkey homes.

James, this is awesome news. Keep up the strategy of buying turnkey! If it ain't broken don't fix it. As you continue to earn income from your job and now your rentals you'll snowball into more properties. You're also investing out of state so it forces you to be an owner, not an employee. I highly respect this. Keep finding new opportunities and cash flow!
