Do I need a Real Estate License to Wholesale in Illinois?

Hello, I have been doing some research on here and I want to confirm that I need a Real Estate License to Wholesale in Illinois.

If I keep the properties for myself then I won't need a license... is that correct?  Thanks for your help!

@Tony Morelli If you're simply purchasing them, it doesn't really sound like wholesaling to me, so I don't anticipate you would have any issues from that perspective. You may run into some financing challenges the more you purchase, though.
