I have a property that I am accepting renter applications and several folks have asked if I accept section 8. Am I allowed to say that I do not accept section in Cincinnati/Ohio? I know that each state is different.

Thank you!

Replied
Some states and municipalities have laws against not accepting section 8.  by not accepting section 8 a landlord may be exposing themselves to equal  housing lawsuits.
