advice: individual private money lenders

Jordan Campbell
Posted

Seeking advice on the following:

Where would I find “individual" private money lenders in my area? NOT hard money lenders.

Are their different platforms that would facilitate these types of connections?

Thanks.

There is no "platform" that will deliver private money lenders. These lenders are just that, "PRIVATE" and consist of individuals will liquid capital who are not typically licensed lenders or professional lenders. They are people looking for or more often, introduced to, alternative investment options such as real estate loans. You find them by speaking with your network of contacts (friends, family, neighbors, doctor, lawyer, dentist, business colleagues, etc. and then all of their contacts, i.e. referrals. Letting everyone whom you come into contact with know what you do and what you can offer is your best bet.
