Need hard money loan in special situation
Hi everyone,
I co-own a 2-family house in Brooklyn, NY. There’s no mortgage on the property, but I owe $23,000 in property taxes.
Property is worth 1.6 million according to Zillow.
I need $30,000–$35,000 to finish an upstairs 1-bedroom unit with a terrace, washer, and dryer. Once completed, it could generate $2,200–$2,600/month in rental income.
I live in downstairs unit
My credit isn’t great, so traditional lenders aren’t an option. I’m open to hard money loans, private lending, or other creative financing options.
Also if anyone is seriously willing to lend I am willing to pay 10-20 percent interest.
Unit is halfway done but has been like this for 5 years now after my father started project and we ran into financial troubles.
I think the project can be done in 3 weeks
Most drywall up
Needs kitchen and small bathroom remodel
Appliances
Floor in main living area only
I just need to find a way to get it done asap.
Does anyone have suggestions on where I could find a loan or investor for this kind of project? Any advice would be appreciated.
