Weird underwriter questions
I've had all kinds of demands over the years from underwriters including once when Bank of America demanded I provide my actual IRS tax filing extension, not a copy, not a certified copy from my CPA, and not a letter from my CPA saying I had filed an extension, the actual extension- took two months to clear that one up.
However, until Thursday I had never been asked what did I get my college degrees in and where did I go to college. I've gotten dozens of loans over the years and I've applied for dozens more. No one had asked those questions before. I can guess at the relevancy, but ...
