Pre-approval in WA

I'm looking to get into the game in Washington and would like to start off with getting pre-approved. I've realized looking at houses online can only take me so far and I need to know how much they are willing to loan out.

Is there any specific bank or lending institution that is best or is pre-approval the same all accross the board? Not the same as shopping around for a loan?

I'm looking into house hacking a multi in the Tacoma area. Buying something that needs minimal work and using an FHA loan and bundling it with a 203k.

Any insights or suggestions on local lenders that you have used and had a good experience with would be greatly appreciated!

Great way to start, Are you purchasing in your name or forming a LLC to purchase the multifamily? If you have a bank you use try them first? If your not comfortable with that, there is many lenders available. I'll do some research and provide a few for you. I know homepath.com is Fannie mae and they will can help with FHA loan and bundling it with a 203k. I hope this helps.
