Fannie Mae 5-10 down payment reduction?

Have the rules eased on the 25% down payment on 5-10 properties?  My lender was thinking they could get it at 20% now.

Hi Mike,

Fannie still lowers LTV by 5% once you're past 4 financed properties, but Freddie Mac does not. However Freddie's cap is 6 financed properties, not the 10 that Fannie has.

I typically do Freddie Mac for folks that will have 5 or 6 financed properties at the end of the transaction, for that higher LTV.

Freddie Mac's interest rate pricing is generally not quite as good as Fannie's.
