Loan options for duplex needing remodeling.
I am a first time home buyer analyzing a duplex. I plan to live in the upper unit.
I need feedback around loan options. I don't have personal financing to do the rehab portion. Is my only option to work with a mortgage broker to find me a 203K? The broker fee is what I'd like to avoid.
