Hey guys. I've been a member for a while now and have 1 property I bought with cash. I am ready to pick up a 2nd property now hopefully, but this one with have to be financed. I wanted to ask the Fayetteville, NC crowd if they have a specific local lender that they prefer? Or if anyone in general has a national lender they prefer? Good rates, low money down, etc. I've read a lot over the past year or so, but it's different when you are actually ready to move forward :)

Any advice would be appreciated!

I've used big banks for my first few, I used Patrick stoy at market consulting mortgage out of Wilmington and will likely use him for my next one as well.

with lenders, what you really want is someone who knows their programs well, and can close efficiently. Rates are almost like a commodity so you won't see too much difference in lenders, and money down can vary depending on program so you need to find a lender that aligns with your overall strategy.

what would be easier is to put a mortgage on your first unit, and then use that cash to buy the 2nd one swiftly. cash is king.
