How to Financing in a partnership?

I'm in the process of setting up a partnership with 2 other investors. I feel good about setting up an additional LLC, and drafting up legal documents etc. However, I'm not sure how we can go about obtaining financing? We would like to ideally finance using a conventional loan. However, it seems as if most traditional banks want to put the loan under a single individual's name (not under the LLC) and have the others give a "gift" for the down payment. How have others been able to work around this? Do I just need to continue to hit the phones to find the right bank? Or are most partnerships doing the deals all in cash and refinancing? Or potentially doing hard money and refinancing? Or using a portfolio product? Any advice would certainly be appreciated!
