paid cash for floor sanding company, they havent given receipt

I had my  wood floors of my rental home  owned in another state resanded and stained for    $ 1,650.

I paid in Cash  and  requested a  paid receipt for the job to be emailed to me.   I'm still trying to get him to do so.    Hes not returning my emails.       If this repair is over the threshold of 600.00  can i still put it down on my  tax return with only coorespondance and emails of the estimate and photos of the job done that he sent me when he was finished?  (as proof of job done)

Do i need to file some type of paperwork. additonally     for this ,        Thanks
