Help with QBI loss carryover

Michael Overall
Posted

Good day, I was looking for some help with QBI.

I am retired with a pension and started using real estate to help with taxes and build long term income. I BRRRR full time and have no other work. I meet the requirements for real estate pro and I grouped my properties. This year I paid some taxes but was able to reduce it.

I have a large (150k plus) QBI loss carryover.  Seems that these are not really good by researching the topic.

For entity I have a basic LLC partnership with my with my wife that is a pass through and am in Texas.

Is there something I can do or to focus on, so I can take advantage of this loss.

Investment into a cash flow entity in my company name?

      Buy more real estate?

Any info or ideas would be very appreciated, I am very new to all this and learning fast as I can.

Thanks for the help/ input
