Hello there everyone-

I have a quick question about taxable income. Lets say that I make $700,000 in one year and decide to buy an apartment complex for $600,000 dollars.

At this point what is considered to be my taxable income?

Do I get taxed on $700,000 or $100,000?

Thanks fellas....
