What business structure is needed to buy rental units?

I'm looking to buy two or more units in an apartment complex or a duplex. I'm going to live in one and rent out the other units. Does anyone know what legal structure is needed for this or know of where I can find an attorney that specializes in real estate investments? LegalZoom is not very helpful.
