I was wondering others opinions. I own 1 rental property and was wondering if I need to go the cpa route. I have been doin my own taxes through turbo tax but this will be my first year with a rental. I bought the turbo tax for investment properties but have yet to open it since if I do I can't return it. Was hoping to hear others 2 cents. Suggestions and advice is always welcome.

I've never taken a retainer relationship with a CPA, but always used one since taking on REI. Bookkeepers and Turbo software barely scratch the surface, even for just one unit.

Take to a pro and learn to do it right and sleep well when you file.
