So my wife is a stay at home mom, and I make just enough to be over the MAGI limit. I’m about to rent out my current home and buy another to live in. She will be pretty much be handling the rental property- is there any way she could be come the “real estate professional”?

One thing I like for stay at home wife or hubby.. is to become a transaction coordinator for real estate agents for become a processor for RMLOs  your 1099 set up the business .. my wife pays 400 a file for transaction coordination and she sells about 30 props a year so thats 12k just from ONE AGENT... great way for peole to get into the business and work from their desk at their own hours.
